Yes

No, it is not. Pre-finished hardwood is real wood, but it is layered to put up with moisture better. Laminate is acrylic or plastic. It cannot be sanded, change colors, refurbished etc. Pre-finished wood can be refurbished.

A high quality, pre-finished hardwood can be finished and re-stained one time. With an average (or below) pre-finished hardwood you cannot change color, but you can screen and re-apply new urethane to refurbish your wood.

You can, but it is not recommended. It is recommended to remove the tile, clean up the slab, and install new tile to ensure a good, strong bond to the concrete.

In showers and wet areas, yes. In other areas it is optional, but it does protect your grout from staining and discoloring.

No, they are not. Porcelain is a solid body, through color, and can be installed in wet areas and/or outdoors. Ceramic is less durable and recommended for interior install only.

Absolutely! It helps protect your carpet from crushing, matting, and can keep liquids from penetrating pad.

Maximum of once per year, but we recommend only when needed.

Very important – Use the products recommended cleaner! The reason for this is if you have a claim on your floor, the first question will be what you have been cleaning your floor with. We provide the customer with recommended cleaner for each product on every installation.
